For the tenth consecutive year, WOP DUBAI was under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality.
The show was inaugurated by Eng. Dawood Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al Hajiri, Director General, Dubai Municipality and HE Thomas Kufen, the Lord Mayor of the city of Essen and organized in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality.
The total outcome of the show was reflecting the huge progress of the trade of perishables all over the Middle East. The continuous growth of WOP DUBAI was demonstrate its position as the prime trade fair for fresh produce in the region as well as strengthen the Emirate of Dubai as a worldwide trading center for fruits and vegetables.
Overall, 162 participating companies from 31 countries exhibited at WOP DUBAI 2018 and presented a wide range of products and services. The exhibitors came from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, the Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.
11 official country pavilions were joining the show from Australia, Belgium, China, France, Greece, Kenya, Malaysia, Moldova, Morocco, Portugal and Turkey.
4035 traders and industry professionals from 82 different countries visited the exhibition.

Malaysia hosts Country Pavilion for the first time at WOP DUBAI 2018
UAE, October 1, 2018- Under the patronage of His Highness (H.H.) Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, Dawood Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al Hajiri, Director General, Dubai Municipality and HE Thomas Kufen, the Lord Mayor of the city of Essen, led today’s (Monday, October 1, 2018) inauguration of the 13th Edition of Middle East’s leading horticultural fair, the International Plants Expo Middle East (IPM DUBAI) 2018, which will take place until Wednesday, October 3, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event is being held in conjunction with the International Perishables Expo Middle East (WOP DUBAI) 2018, the leading platform for fresh produce in the Middle East.
WOP DUBAI and IPM DUBAI 2018 welcomed participants from 40 countries including 12 official country pavilions throughout the three-day event, and is hosting a total of 213 local, regional and international exhibitors.....
